Scarlet Fever

Barbies were pretty much the only toy I wanted to get as a kid on Christmas morning. But after spending the last week sorting through childhood Barbie stuff with my sister; I wouldn't mind never seeing them ever again. Who knew 2 little girls could accumulate so much stuff? I think it really got out of control after we started making money on a paper route and could afford to buy all the things for ourselves. Though I don't really see the point in owning a coconut scented Ken doll. Sometimes our younger selves make strange decisions!

Luckily, my younger self from a couple weeks ago was spot on with this outfit. I'm very obsessed with the whole look. As much as I admire all of my Barbie clothes, I think my real life closet is way more fun because I actually get to wear the things. Barbie would never look as good in my clothes. But that is mostly because she's only 11 inches tall and would be swimming in them! ;)
