Holiday Swap Reveal Post!

So I hope everyone had an awesome holiday. It reaaaallyy sucks that it is over. I always get so bummed after Christmas because it was such a big build up to an awesome day then BAM! Back to work and life and reality. Boo! I am too overwhelmed right now to post all about my holiday, so I will recap it on Monday.  Anyways, I just love getting packages in the mail, especially this time of year, so when I saw that  Janna  was hosting a Holiday Swap I had to participate ! I got partnered up with Megan and she's awesome! Check out her blog to see what I got for her. Alright, here's what you're all waiting for, what Megan got for me:  1- The cutest little tin with mint hot chocolate inside, yum! I already had some :-) 2- Essie Fishnet Stockings Nail Polish. Introducing AdSense Direct - a simple way to manage your direct sales

We’re happy to introduce AdSense Direct, a new feature for publishers getting started with their first directly sold ad deals. You can easily manage directly sold ads from within your AdSense account, and show them on your pages without needing to make any changes to your site’s code. AdSense Direct is currently available to publishers and advertisers located in the U.S., and we hope to expand further in the coming months. To use AdSense Direct, you’ll first need to arrange a direct deal with an advertiser -- this can be any advertiser, regardless of whether or not they’re using AdWords. Once you’ve both agreed on the terms of the deal, enter the details into your AdSense account. You’ll get a link to send to the advertiser, where they can upload their ad and pay for the deal with Google Wallet. A Wonderful Morning with Andy Griffiths!

Hip, hip, hooray! Today was Andy Griffiths Day in my school library! I've never heard kids laugh so hard during an author visit, but Andy never lost "control" of the audience. My kids knew when it was time to listen to his next joke and story. I'm so happy that he's visiting with Mr. Sharp's and Mr. Jonker's students later in the week. I love when I teach classes right after an author visit because it allows me to get immediate feedback from my students. According to my first and second graders... *Andy Griffiths is a really fun guy. * He traveled far to visit our school. I’m happy I got to meet him. *Andy told us how he created the treehouse in the Treehouse series. *Andy is a good author. * He was so nice to every person during the book signing. *He is wonderful. * Andy is very good at writing books. * I think he is the silliest author who has ever visited our school library.
