Do any of you watch The Big Bang Theory? Well, it is one of the few shows that I do enjoy watching. Sheldon Cooper is one of the main characters on the show. His arch enemy is Wil Wheaton. I have modified one of the more well known quotes from Sheldon Cooper, as he expresses his disdain for Wil Weaton, in an effort to add a little humour into what has become a bit of a cat fight over at the AccuQuilt quilt block design contest. Since day 3 of the AccuQuilt contest, Will Bennett has been in the lead. Since the day he entered his block design called " Satellite Ride ". Some of the contest entrants have had their nose out of joint because Will Bennett is the son of long time quilter, Judy Martin of Quilting With Judy Martin . The competition has been fierce. I wanted my block design to appeal to both modern and traditional quilters. The Pretty Posy block marries traditional style with contemporary flair. Kona cotton solids lend a modern edge to this simply pieced 9 Patch setting. While the outline quilting and balanced design reflect a more conventional feel.
