The latest ad for the upcoming movie Muppets Most Wanted skewers the trend of using Tweets from just anyone for advertising and pop culture journalism. When everyone's a critic, you can find a quote that says anything you want. That's not really a new tactic in the movie marketing trade, but with Twitter, it's much easier -and sillier. Home Entertainment has released a special Blu-ray edition of the Oscar-winning film, which includes both the original theatrical version of the film and its Extended Director's Cut, plus a host of bonus features. What is Christmas without some movies to get you into the spirit? Admittedly, I just watched Mannequin which is about a store in the 80's and the furthest thing from this subject. But here are some other films I'll be catching up with this weekend! 1. Home Alone 1 & 2 It's long been argued that #2 didn't live up to #1. Those people are stupid and clearly did not see number 4 or 5. Without #2 we'd never have Duncan's Toy Chest, the Talkboy, and most importantly the sticky bandits! 2. Ernest Saves Christmas If there was ever a holiday or any semi-major life event, then you can count on Ernest to have made a movie about it. This Christmas one is a favorite of mine and I'm always impressed with his impressions. Can I just be like him already?? 3. Jingle All The Way Arnold Schwarzenegger doing a children's Christmas film. According to Kotaku , director Duncan Jones revealed at BlizzCon that the Warcraft movie won't be an adaption of World of Warcraft. Instead, the movie will be set during early wars between humans and Orcs, so closer to Warcraft and Warcraft II, I'm assuming. One big difference between the movie and the games is that the Horde will be led by Durotan, the father of Thrall. Durotan didn't take part in the two wars, as he and his clan were exiled shortly after arriving in Azeroth. It's a bit odd that they're not using Blackhand or Ogrimm Doomhammer, the warchiefs during the First and Second Wars, respectively.. Not a big deal, I'm just glad that they're starting from the beginning. I was worried that the Warcraft movie was going to be based on WoW. I'm actually intrigued by the idea that the movie will show both Durotan's and Anduin Lothar's (the leader of Azeroth's armies during the First War and leader of Alliance forces during the Second) poin...

Saw both of them on GeekTyrant today. I like this one in particular. Sif's armor is decently realistic. Sure, her arms and legs are unarmored, but keep in mind that Sif is an Asgardian, so she's far more durable than the average human and heals faster too. Also? Jaime Alexander is on my list of actresses who should play Wonder Woman. I dig this one too because it has a fantasy feel to it. Love the shoulder armor (spauldrons? Pauldrons?) and vambraces.
