Marvel at the Iconic Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center in Abu Dhabi with Google’s Street View

The latest Special Collect addition to the Street View project in the UAE was launched to coincide with the UAE’s 42nd National Day celebrations.

Whether you are a virtual explorer on Google Maps or planning a trip to the United Arab Emirates, or even an architecture enthusiast, you can now have full access to one of the most intricately designed mosques in contemporary history. The Mosque showcases the key elements and diversity in the patterns of the architecture and how it progressed in the Arab and Islamic world. A fusion of Arab, Persian, Mughal and Moorish architecture,including 82 domes with Mogul-inspired designs and more than 1,000 columns with Andalusian style designs as well as the largest hand-knitted Persian-style carpet in the world as well as many Ottoman and Mamluk architectural elements across the mosque complex are now fully accessible via Google Street View.

Now you can experience full 360 degree views of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center with a capacity for 40,000 worshipers.
