Street Style

Image
You may think you're looking at just another blogger taking pictures in a busy street setting. Well actually, you are. I originally was going to take pictures elsewhere, but I was out of town and as I was walking down the street, I noticed a woman dressed to the nines getting her picture taken by what I can only assume was her photographer boyfriend. I witnessed a street style blogger. They're so much different in person, so much smaller than they appear on my screen. I'm totally not used to them, coming from a really small town. Do Over

Image
While I adore the look I wore on New Years Eve , if I could have a do over, I would choose this dazzling retro outfit. It's got mixed metals, an actual vintage shirt, and enough sequins to make a 1980s Joan Rivers weep. Unfortunately this outfit didn't get to see the glitz of the evening and spent it's time running errands with a heavy winter coat over it for errands. So glam, I know. It seems now that the holidays are all over, I have the urge to wear all my sequins. I never really wore them in December but now that it's January, I'm all for it. Maybe it has something to do with it being a shiny new year or something? Let's go with that! Outfit details - Vintage sequin top, $1.23 (thrifted) - Gray skirt, $2 (thrifted) - Tights, $5 (Wal-Mart) - Flats, $10 (Wal-Mart) - Necklace, from my aunt (Avon brand) - Lip color, Dark Wine by Wet'n'Wild

Rockin' New Years Eve

I had a pretty rockin' New Years Eve. It was spent with my closest gal pals, partying it up with copious amounts of board games, and downing a dangerous level of Smartwater. But I think my video below explains the evening much better than I can. Oh and happy new year! I'm ready for you, 2014. Outfit details - Dress, paid w/ GC (Asos.com) - Cardigan, $3 (thrifted) - Tights, $5 (Wal-Mart) - Necklace, gift from Dani (Jewelmint brand) - Lip color, Dark Wine by Wet'n'Wild - Pipe cleaner jewelry, DIY
